Attack Strategy

On Icebreaker, use the open deck area to run poke compositions and control the long sightlines across the ship. On Labs, push through the side corridors to flank the enemy team on the point and use the elevated walkways for off-angles. On Sublevel, play close-range compositions and use the tight underground corridors to force brawl engagements where Reinhardt and close-range DPS excel. Adapt your approach to each sub-map since they play very differently.

Defense Strategy

On Icebreaker, hold the elevated positions around the point and use the ship structures for cover while maintaining long-range damage output. On Labs, control the high ground walkways above the point and deny flankers from using the side corridors. On Sublevel, hold the doorways into the underground point and force attackers to funnel through narrow entrances where your team can focus fire. Each sub-map requires a different defensive setup so be ready to adapt between rounds.

Recommended Comp

Varies by sub-map. Icebreaker favors poke with Sigma, Hanzo, and Ana. Labs favors dive with Winston and mobile DPS. Sublevel favors brawl with Reinhardt, Reaper, and Lucio. Be prepared to flex between compositions across the three rounds.

Tips & Tricks

  • Each sub-map plays very differently; be prepared to swap heroes between rounds to match the terrain
  • On Icebreaker, the open deck heavily favors poke compositions; avoid running brawl here
  • On Labs, the elevated walkways are power positions; contest them before fighting on the point
  • On Sublevel, brawl is almost always the best approach due to the tight underground corridors
  • Environmental kills are possible on Icebreaker near the edges of the ship; watch for Lucio and Pharah boops

Labs

Indoor research facility with elevated walkways and side corridors. Dive heroes can use the walkways for flanking angles and the corridors for rotations. The point is semi-enclosed with multiple entry points making it hard to hold with static compositions.

Recommended Comp: Dive with Winston, D.Va, Genji, Kiriko, and Lucio. Mobility to use the walkways and corridors effectively.
Sublevel

Sublevel

Tight underground corridors leading to an enclosed point. Brawl compositions dominate with Reinhardt barrier and close-range damage. The narrow doorways funnel enemies into kill zones. Control the mega health pack room for sustain advantage.

Recommended Comp: Brawl with Reinhardt, Reaper, Mei, Lucio, and Moira. Close-range dominance in the underground.
