Enclosed corridors connecting the arena sections; brawl heroes dominate these tight spaces
Pillar Cover
Large Roman pillars on the point; essential for breaking line of sight during fights

Grand archway leading to the point; a natural choke that defenders can hold
Attack Strategy
Arena Victoriae features Roman-themed sub-maps with a mix of open arenas and enclosed corridors. Use the pillars and architectural structures for cover while approaching the point from flanking angles. On more open sub-maps, play poke compositions and control the elevated spectator areas for sightline advantages. On tighter sub-maps, switch to brawl and use the corridors to force close-range engagements. The Roman architecture provides excellent wall ride surfaces for Lucio and wall climb for Hanzo and Genji.
Defense Strategy
Hold the elevated spectator platforms and balconies overlooking each point area to maintain high ground advantage. Use the Roman pillars and archways as natural cover while maintaining crossfire angles on the point. On the more enclosed sub-maps, hold the narrow corridors and doorways to funnel attackers into kill zones. The architectural details provide numerous off-angles and cover positions that reward creative defensive setups and crossfire positioning.
Recommended Comp
Flexible composition adapting to each sub-map. Sigma pairs well with the pillar-heavy terrain for barrier and rock angles. Reinhardt is strong on the tighter sub-maps with corridors. Hanzo and Soldier 76 provide consistent damage. Ana and Lucio round out the composition with healing and speed.
Hero Picks
Sigma— Pillars and archways provide excellent angles for his barrier and rock; ranged damage is strong
Reinhardt— Tight corridors on some sub-maps are perfect for his barrier and hammer swings
Hanzo— Wall climb accesses the spectator platforms; Storm Arrows are devastating in the corridors
Ana— Elevated spectator platforms provide excellent healing angles across the arena
Lucio— Roman walls and pillars provide excellent wall ride surfaces; speed boost through corridors is strong
