King's Row

Hybrid London, United Kingdom
King's Row

Key Positions

Hotel High Ground

Elevated position overlooking the first choke point; attackers can take this to pressure defenders from above and bypass the main gate

Pub (First Choke)

Building on the right side of the first choke; provides cover and an alternate angle for attackers pushing through

Statue Garden

Open area around the statue on first point; the objective area where the team fight typically happens

Mega Health Pack (Streets)

Located in the alley between first and second point; essential for sustain during the escort phase

Underground Tunnel (Third)

Tunnel beneath the streets on third point; flankers and tanks use this to avoid the main sightline

Final Corner

The tight 90-degree corner before the final delivery point; one of the most brawl-heavy fight locations in the game

Attack Strategy

On first point, take the rooftop on the left building to pressure defenders holding the courtyard and use the side alley to flank into the open square. On second point, push through the underground tunnel for cover and use the side buildings for off-angles when emerging back outside. For the final push to the statue, control the upper balconies above the open street and coordinate a dive onto defenders holding the high ground before committing the payload through the final indoor stretch.

Defense Strategy

Hold the choke at the courtyard on first point with crossfire from the upper balconies and the side rooms over the open square. On second, contest the underground tunnel and use the side buildings to crossfire attackers emerging into the open. On the final point, lock down the high ground above the statue and the indoor approach to force attackers to fight uphill, with a strong sustain composition winning the prolonged final stand against incoming pushes.

Recommended Comp

Brawl (Reinhardt, Reaper, Mei, Lucio, Moira).

Hero Picks

Reinhardt — Tight streets and corners make his barrier and hammer swing incredibly effective throughout the map
Reaper — Close-quarters combat on second and third point is perfect for his shotguns and wraith form
Lucio — Speed boost through the tight streets enables aggressive engages; wall ride potential is excellent
Ana — Anti-nade is devastating in the tight corridors where enemies cannot easily dodge it
Mei — Ice wall can split teams at the chokes and her close-range damage is strong in the tight streets

Tips & Tricks

  • Kings Row is the premier brawl map; Reinhardt and Lucio are almost always strong picks here
  • On attack first point, taking the hotel high ground before engaging gives you a massive advantage over defenders at the choke
  • The underground tunnel on third point lets you bypass the main sightline entirely; use it for flanks or rotations
  • On defense second point, playing on the high ground overlooking the street is stronger than fighting at payload level
  • Symmetra teleporter can move your team from spawn to the fight instantly on this map due to the short distances
