Paraíso

Hybrid Rio de Janeiro, Brazil
Paraíso

Key Positions

Carnival Street

The main street decorated with carnival elements; provides the primary approach to the first capture area

Rooftop Positions

Elevated rooftops throughout the map; mobile heroes use these to control the fight from above

Side Alleys

Narrow alleyways running between the colorful buildings; essential flanking routes for dive heroes

Mega Health Pack (Building Interior)

Located inside a building off the main path; critical sustain during fights in the narrow streets

Corner Choke

Tight corner where the payload turns during the escort phase; a natural defensive hold point

Final Overlook

High ground position overlooking the final delivery area; whoever controls this wins the last fight

Attack Strategy

Use the side alleys and narrow streets to bypass the main approach on first point and establish flanking positions behind the defenders. The colorful buildings provide multiple routes to approach the capture area from unexpected angles. On the escort phase, use the rooftop positions to pressure defenders from above and rotate through the side streets to avoid the main sightline. For the final push, coordinate a dive onto the rooftops above the delivery area and drop down onto the defenders once you have the positional advantage.

Defense Strategy

Hold the rooftops overlooking the first capture area to maintain high ground advantage and force attackers to fight uphill. Use the colorful buildings for cover and crossfire angles across the narrow streets. On the escort phase, set up at the tight corners where the payload turns and use the side alleys for off-angles and rotations. On the final section, hold the elevated positions above the delivery area and deny the rooftops to attackers. The narrow streets favor compositions that can control space effectively.

Recommended Comp

Dive composition with Winston, D.Va, Genji or Tracer, Kiriko, and Lucio. The narrow streets and multiple elevation levels reward mobile heroes who can access rooftops quickly. The side alleys provide flanking routes that dive heroes exploit better than any other style. Speed boost from Lucio helps close distance in the tighter sections.

Hero Picks

Winston — Can leap between rooftops and contest the multiple elevation levels throughout the map
Genji — Narrow alleys and rooftops provide perfect flanking routes for his aggressive playstyle
Lucio — Speed boost through the tight streets and wall ride on the colorful buildings are extremely effective
Kiriko — Teleport keeps her connected to diving teammates across the multiple levels
Tracer — Side alleys give her multiple routes to harass the backline and escape safely

Tips & Tricks

  • Paraiso rewards aggressive use of the rooftops; heroes who can access high ground quickly have a huge advantage
  • The side alleys are essential for flankers; always have someone watching them to prevent backline dives
  • On defense, holding the rooftops is more important than standing on the ground level near the payload
  • The narrow streets make speed boost from Lucio incredibly valuable for closing distance and engaging
  • On attack first point, splitting between the main street and the side alleys forces defenders to divide attention
